Anyway i've finished studying the details for Othello up till Act 2. Oh man! It's really taxing to study shakespear language ok and trying to decipher the 'inner/deeper' meaning. Hell. Is amazing how fast i do it, within 3days.
I studied demand and supply.
Law of demand- The higher the px of a good, the lower the quantity demanded of the good,c.p.
Distinction btwn change in quantity demanded and change in demand
Change in Qty demanded-change in amt of a gd that ppl are willing to buy due to a change in the px of the gds itself. It is shown by the movement along the dd curve.
Change in demand- response of demand to changes in any of the factors of demand(non-px determinant), other than its own px. It is shown by a shift in the demand curve. Increase in demand will cause a rightward shify and decrease, vice versa.
NON-PX determinant of demand-affects the change in demand
Our school introduced a term call EGYPT. but then again diff schools uses diff method of teaching. E- Expectation of consumers (eg. future income, future px of goods) G- Govt (impose a law that every hsehold shld be equipped with a fire extinguisher, demand for it will increase) Y- Income (you know the symbol tt we use to symbolise income-Y) P- Px of related gds. (Substitute and complement goods.) T- Taste and preference (fashion eg ipod)
Law of Supply - willingness and ability of producers to offer for sale a particular good per period of time. The higher the px of a good, the more the producer would want to supply it, cp.
Shant go the extra miles to explain change in quantity supplied and change in supply. Is the same for both demand and supply. Just that u gotta change the words. duh!
